Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a difference between Exfoliation and Chemical Peel?

Exfoliation and Chemical Peels are both cosmetic procedures that clear away dead skin cells. However, Chemical Peels have the ability to deeply penetrate the skin than the exfoliation procedures available on the market. This makes Chemical Peels a much more effective solution for problems such as aging skin, acne build-up, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin texture.

How often should you go for this treatment?

The frequency of treatments is determined by the type of chemical peel best suited for your skin. Light peels can be repeated between 1 – 4 weeks, while medium to heavy peels may need to be scheduled between 6 months to 1 year. Our doctor will determine the frequency of treatments necessary in order to meet your desired results.

What are the contraindications to Chemical Peels?

Clients taking certain medications to clear any pre-existing health conditions may not be suited to undergo a Chemical Peel.

Your candidacy for the treatment will be determined by our doctor upon your consultation. In the event you are not qualified for treatment, our doctor will recommend a number of solutions we currently offer.
